Brookfield Eighth Graders Take First Place in Class Competition

The Cleveland Clinic awarded a group of Brookfield eighth grade students first place for their video presentation for a “smart inhaler."
Over the past several weeks, Brookfield Middle School eighth-grade students have had the opportunity to collaborate with Ohio schools and participate in an interactive, online classroom lead by The Cleveland Clinic. It's called the Adventures in Health Science and Medicine (AHSM) program.

Students were given the challenge to create a solution for expired inhalers for the course’s final project. Alexis Lindholm, Madeline Pisarcik, Logan Shingledecker, and Maddie Thompson created a video for a smart inhaler with Bluetooth technology. The Cleveland Clinic awarded the group’s video presentation first place during the final session.
