A group of local schools and agencies taught the public about mental health and behavior Thursday, November 29, 2018.
The 2nd Annual Red Flags Mental Health Awareness Night was at Damascus Friends Church. This event was planned by West Branch administrators and counselors along with the pastors at Damascus Friends Church.
The program included a presentation from Angie Kearns from Linkages and a panel of resource personnel from local mental health agencies and schools. This evening offered hope, help, prevention, and healing. Suicide, anxiety, and depression were discussed, as well as how to recognize red flags in someone’s behavior.
The night was presented by Alta Behavioral Healthcare in association with Celebrate Recovery, Pathway, HelpNetwork of NE Ohio, CommQuest, West Branch Local Schools, Alliance City Schools, and Sebring Local Schools.
