Traci Hostetler currently serves as the Superintendent of the Mahoning County Educational Service Center (MCESC) located in northeastern Ohio. The MCESC is an educational service organization, employing more than 500 individuals and serving more than 25 schools in a four county region.
Mrs. Hostetler received her undergraduate degree in special education from Kent State University. She began her career as a special education teacher working with high school and middle school students. She earned her Master's Degree and administrative certification in Educational Administration from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Hostetler began her administrative career as an elementary principal, then transitioned to a middle school principalship in Mahoning County. In 2013, she earned her Superintendent's License and a position as the Director of Teaching and Learning in Stark County.
Before being hired as the MCESC Superintendent, she served as superintendent at East Palestine City Schools in East Palestine, Ohio. Her experience has spanned into rural, urban, and suburban settings, and in schools of varying sizes.
Mrs. Hostetler is currently pursuing her EdD from Youngstown State University.
