Home Schooling
The Mahoning County Educational Service Center is responsible for oversight of families wishing to home school their children. This oversight is for most families whose children attend any of the Mahoning County Local School Districts. Families who live in city school districts, including Youngstown, Struthers and Campbell City should apply to their respective Superintendents.
This service is for all school-age children. Families are welcome to download a “Home Education Notification Form” application from our main web page and submit it with a copy of the curriculum they are choosing to follow to receive permission to home school their children.
